Just had a listen to this and am really impressed with how brilliant he was back then. Never had the chance to go to any of these events in England.

Was wondering if anyone on here went to any of them. Who were your favourite djs playing? Keen to know what I missed out on back then :)

I went to all of them. We also had an epic UKTA meetup at the second or third one.

I was in the main arena listening to Paul when Tiesto was playing (this particular set), which I don't regret, as this was around the time Paul was releasing The Politics of Dancing. But without a doubt, the DJ who blew the roof off at all the events was Mauro Picotto, his sets were just ing mental. There is one recorded lying around the internet somewhere.

Nice!! I remember reading somewhere that the Gatecrasher DJ Scott Bond went b2b with Tiesto at one the GC NECs. Is that correct? Do you know if a set was ever recorded?

I fist pumped to all of Scott Bond's NEC sets and I don't recall him ever playing alongside Tiesto.

Here's the Picotto set I was referring too, although it's only an hours worth.

ing crazy.

When the crowd went mental when Athos - Oh My God kicked back in, after everyone was standing around for a couple of minutes wondering what the was happening

Definitely one of my favourite clubbing moments...... and can be found at 21:50 mins on the video :D

Just dug out this old review out:

Do you remember the b2b closing set with Scott Bond and Matt Hardwick. Heard that was one of the best sets of the night at the 2nd NEC (I think). Did they play any other memorable tunes besides what was on the review?

I went to one in either 2002 or 2003.

It was Tiesto and that remix he did of Radiohead was massive.

And I swear he was playing this....

Neelix has sampled The Simpsons and the bloody Countdown theme in his tracks recently, and he's massively popular at the moment. Clearly there's still an appetite for silly breakdown gimmicks.

Nice mix.

Felt the SP samples weren't the best choice though.
