Sasha is second to none when it comes to melodic prowess. |

Yea man. Im glad to see its charting so well too.
From Sashas fb:
"Totally overwhelmed by the support for Involv3r. Thanks to everyone who has bought the album and got us to #12 in the iTunes chart, and #1 in the UK & US dance charts. Blown away!" |

Listening to it now...
First two songs were great. Then it goes down 3,4. Moody songs, but not really that interesting. Starts going back up with Battleships a bit which is song 5. The Ultraista song is great...song 6.
Song 7...it's alright. Now on Healing. Wasn't a big fan of this remix. It's okay I suppose.
Involver 1 was the best for me. Everything works in that. Involver 2...It only starting good after the Ladytron track.
I'm waiting for the hate responses, but this album is okay so far. Involver 1 worked for me the first time and I never got bored of it. This doesn't have the same punch.
Sasha is great with melodies...when he wants to be. I honestly think he's holding back too much these days, but he knows what to do. Anyway the album isn't done yet, so the other tracks might be more nuts. |

Personally i though Invol2ver was the best out of the three, from start to finish.
Ive seen Sasha twice in the last year, and Involv3r is a really good representation of his sound now. Melodic, with more vocals and texture. When I saw him at stereo, he was able to pull off playing 'pachanga boys - time' in the middle of an afterhours set. This is a good example of what to expect from him these days.

Yeah I guess this is his sound these days. I've listened to many of his sets online from the past year...yeah they were meh.
Any finished the album...it was okay I suppose.
What do you guys think the big track from the album is? Involver had Watching Cars Go By, Involver 2 had Destroy Everything You Touch. What about Involver 3?
I think personally Smalltalk takes the cake. |
