Well I had the chance to see John'00'Fleming on Saturday night at the Plaza of nations. In the almost 5 years of listing to electronica I have never heard such a good set. Amazing mixing, awsome tracks, and his ability to read the crowd and work them into a frenzy all led to in my opinion the best performance to date in Vancouver. So did anyone else from Van check him out at the Twisted party? If so what are your thoughts on his set.
See all you Vancouver people at the Slinky Inter-Continental tour on april 28th @ the Plaza of nations

The Plaza of nations is the largest rave venue in Vancouver. Its 3 stores with one MASSIVE main room complete with 2 balconys over looking the stage and 2 other small rooms. Its capacity was drasticly cut from 4000 to 2700 people (City hates raves) Slinky is antoher one of the big clubs in the UK and they have there own series of CD's. There newest CD is Slinky Moscow, you should be able to find it on napster, in my opinion its very good. For Vancouver Party info go to www.Teamhardcore.com, its got EVERY party in vcancouver listed and info about each. I would highly recomend checking out The slinky tour, I know the promoters and they have been throwing nothing but quality shows, plus they love there trance.

Hey patticus. Im sort of new here. I didnt even realize there was a Vancouver forum. Well I was slightly disapointed with Marc et Claude, I though his set would be a little more epic then it was. His mixing was nothing special, in fact during one mix the volume for the track he was putting in was down to zero and when he finally hit the crossfader over there was about 5 seconds of silence, the silence was broken when he started laughing at the top of his lungs and put the volume up.
Fleming spun the most amazing set I have ever heard. Perfect mixing and awsome track selection. Here are some of the track I remember him playing:
Push - Strange world (2000 remake)
Push - universal nation
Roland Klinkenberg - Inner Laugh
digital blonde - legato
digital blonde - Electra
Nuw Idol - Kick Drum Domination
Thats all I can remember right now. He played TONS of new stuff that i was un-able to ID.
Ill post this in the Vancouver Forum as well.
