| I started Violet Crown Sessions years ago as an experimental, chill, progressive house type movement. Nothing meant for mainstream, or even to be played out in a club. I still continue this as I picked up the gear again early this year. However, this is a mix I put together on the fly as a clubby type mix, in other words, something I'd play out in a live gig. I literally go through from 300-500 tracks a week sorting out the crap to narrowing down a lot of great productions from today's talent - which I hope to add to in the next six months when I get my production gear together. For now, if you want to get moving, check out Just Recorded, a mix recorded live this afternoon in the studio. I'm going to record more of these as a ongoing series... |

I still have some Violet Crown Sessions on cassette tape! Complete with little illustrations and I did for them. Cherished those mixes, so will always check your latest mixes out Steven. |

Ha. Thanks. Yeah, so I'm still dabbling in several genres, and my latest is more upbeat, still around 124bpm, but more upbeat/club like. I'll continue to make these along with some deep house/progressive sets of VCS.
