Just wondering what happened to this guy? Or the rest of border community for that matter? He had a good run in the early 2000's with some really forward thinking dance music then sort of disappeared. These guys just go on to do other things in life or what? Was just listening to some polyphony and it sounds just as fresh as it did 7-8 years ago.

I think they are artists and they just move from one realm of art to another. To us, records like Petter's Six Songs EP are mind blowing. To him its just another project. I'm sure he's proud of it but I'm willing to bet that someone w/ that skill level is also good at other art practices too, so its just another feather in their cap.

There's also something to be said for quitting while you are ahead.

all together is just mental

nice youtube comment on some polyphony;

"Petter pre-dates Deadmau5 by several years. But yes, as with all minimal artists, like most other genres, similarities are shared."

Why anyone would even compare Petter to Deadmau5 is pathetic. Petter's old stuff is levels beyond that POS.

He's producing/mixing/running a label together with Axel Boman and Kornél Kovács called Barnhus Studio which operates in Stockholm.

in case anyone didn't get it; when I wrote "nice" I was being ironic.
