That's like the same page that "confirmed" it four months ago?
Whooptydo even if they do show up, at most they'll play one or two songs with Phoenix, and that is meaningless for me. Multi hour live show with the whole setup or whatever.

It is not confirmed until it's on the poster at the domain coachella.com.
There has been so much hype over DP; kinda over it. They are good but not that good.
I'm more stoked for Luciano. Haven't seen the ****** since 2009 at Avalon. Wheeee!!!

Since they were one of the only electronic acts to get US radio play in the late 90's-early 2000's, the first real house tune lots of people ever heard was "Around the World", myself included. They were pushed really hard by their label but I think their music justifies it. If someone came out with Da Funk today it would still be a massive hit. Once you factor in the Discovery album, the fact that Kanye built a huge hit off one of their tracks, that their last tour was basically the most well received series of electronic shows ever, and the enormous profile of "EDM" these days, you have the makings for a huge hype train around their reunion.
But WAIT! I just heard a guy in a Hollywood bathroom say they MIGHT be playing. Since hollywood is near a lot of music industry headquarters, odds are this guy is in the know.
reopen thread.
