Field recordings?

Any pointers to this stuff? I recently listened to the ambient disc of Liumin and I was reminded of how relaxing this stuff is to listen to.

I know there's quite a bit of traditional nature based stuff but I'd like stuff from more far away regions, asia in particular. I also think cities are more exciting than nature recordings most of the time.

To start off, I found a bunch of nice tokyo field recordings which are available for free: http://ohexoh.bandcamp.com/album/tokyo-field-recodings

This was really cool! cant stop listening to it while i work. this kind of stuff is more common in non commercial cinema and i could make some recommendations there as my cinema knowledge dwarfs even my knowledge 90s progressive trance but dont think i can do it from a music end.
