| This is exactly the sort of thing that requires the scientific method. I say, repeat the experiment on a larger scale. Use parcel tracking to find out exactly where things go wrong. Write up a report. Deliver it to, say, the FBI, Postmaster General, the New York Times, and MSNBC. Oh, and Fox News, just for grins. Get specific enough with your parcel tracking scheme that an investigation can identify the exact bigots who held it up. |

Sampling and Selection Bias
The Superset of All Americans is Too Large to singlehandedly select a subset and draw general conclusions of the overall population.
On the other hand, Americans are losing their religion.
