My aunt and uncle make a lot of beef jerky / deer (yeah, it's amazing) jerky. I've pretty much grown up on the stuff. Any time I'm going to be in the car for more than an hour or so I grab a bag.

Kangaroo jerky is pretty similar to beef jerky, just with a slightly stronger and slightly gamier flavour.

It tastes similar, but it's got this tang that beef doesn't have. Kinda hard to describe.

Maybe the one you got was a brand? There are quite a few different ones. The one I tried was just like beef jerky, mostly.

Jerky is arite, I guess. But i usually prefer those tiny stick sausages though, if anybody has any idea what I'm talking about :P
