So, I want buy a Bitcoin Miner: http://www.butterflylabs.com but I don't know if I should. I would like to kindly ask TA members if they have heard of someone who has become profitable mining bitcoins. According to Butterfly Labs, with a $1,299 investment one would be able see a return of $300-$400 daily or 23% ROI A DAY -- calculated risk or gamble? |

Ummm.. Did you even read the link? Cus the link you posted doesn't really address anything that was said among the answers in my link.
The machines does what it says on the tin. But there are 4+ month delivery + ty customer service. So I guess that is what makes this a gamble.
Edit: Plus you're not gonna be able to sustain a rate of return, as bitcoins get harder and harder to mine. It's how the system is built.
This mining rig does give you a headstart though, compared to regular ones though. |

Those numbers are ing lies, you wont get a return for a very long time, don't do this, you'll make more money on a mutual fund. |

I've been reading up on Bitcoins lately as well. Just last night I discovered the mining hardware, but the shipping delays are scary. By the time you get that machine, it might already be obsolete and time to upgrade. I have a feeling that once these things hit the market, mining will become controlled by only a few people. |

You guys are no fun. You're supposed to support him knowing full well that it won't end well, then sit back and watch things fall apart. |
