| I still don't get how everyone here hates Prometheus so much. I wasn't alive when the original Alien came out, or even for the James Cameron sequel, but I though it was fun. The plot is funky but all the special effects and the cinematography made it a really cool film to watch IMHO. |

You know what I really liked about Prometheus? How much of a heroine that woman is. You know, the fit one. She performed a self-abortion and still exhibited a performance worth of display in the Olympics right after she closed the stitches. You can almost tell it's not real, but a part of you still wants to believe that could happen.
She'd be the fittest heroine ever! |

You're right actually. You've just made me realise a silly assumption I jumped to when I watched the film. I said at the time that the script of Prometheus was an absolute insult to the audience's intelligence. But I realise now that I was wrong. Some people are simply too stupid to have their intelligence insulted.
Thanks for helping me reach an understanding of why films like Prometheus continue to get made, Kenny. |
