Alright guys

So i treated myself to a new PC and cubase 7, have gone 64 bit

The problem im having is automating a filter bypass/sweep on a bus

No matter how spot on i draw the automation there is some delay when the automation kicks in, resulting in noticeable errors.

Any idea why this is happening? Im running an RME card and newest ASIO drivers on windows 8

Buffer is set to 256

Ive tried several different plug ins with the same result

My old computer (which is e compared to this one) could handle it much better :(

Thanks for any thoughts

IS that the bug where automation is affected by latency/buffer settings? Ive not seen anything else mentioned. Whats happening to me is independent of buffer settings.

Also im getting pops/crackles and general poor performance

Project wont open in C5 and im too far in too scrap it

might have to contact support and see whats going on.........

Try turning off Asio Guard, solved a lot of problems for me.

Also, did you update to version 7.03?
chris marsh
Yes I have. On the plus side it's very slick and love the new mixer - just got to get these issues sorted. I'm getting a constant red bar in the performance meter , even though the meter itself is only at about 30 percent. Weired.

I miss the old mixer, how is the 32 Bit version working out for you?
