Is Nu-House really that great?

I understand the whole Deadmau5, Kaskade and electro house trend and everything, it's fluffy, fun, and goofy, but I find the music to be rather plain.
I had a kid tell me that Trance was too old and boring. Is it really true? Are we really aging quite badly to the point where Trance sounds boring and dull now?
Honestly I find Trance to be better. House is fun but it's way to watered down and fluffy as of late |

How would you feel if you are listening to some awesome melodic classic Trance or any of the popular club hits from 1999 and then some kid comes in and says that you are old and boring?
When these kids say "old and boring" what they really are conveying subconsciously is that they are into "fluffy electro Happy House" stuff.
Alright I'm sorry, I'll stop with these types of threads. It's just hard to deal with some kids you know? I mean, how do you guys handle it? XD |

| I don't see why it matters, if you know what you like. in' kids are always gonna act like they're too good for things. I liked electro house during 08-2010 but now I'm bored of it. I noticed trance had a much greater longevity to it than the farts did. |
