Haven't heard anything by him for a while now, but he's been kind of a legend in Germany for a while.
Back when, various shades of techno with other influences I'd say.
Will go just on the name alone, unless proven otherwise (as in the ASOT600 thread and Armin) usually not a bad thing.
I think quite a while back, he did one of the Fabric series.
Thanks for the link, will check out later.
Also saw they have some other sets listed (Troxler, Pan-Pot) which I'll have to check. |

Top notch booking.
I saw Michael Mayer at DEMF in 2010. I had already been a fan of his productions on Kompakt for a while and he killed it. I was interested to see how his DJ set would be live and he surpassed all of my expectations.
I'm a huge fan of Mayer and the Kompakt camp. Been around for 20 years. Pretty much introduced the minimal sound. Michael Mayer's sets are more forward thinking and moody than most. He plays everything you can think of but always manages to maintain a sound aesthetic throughout. He's definitely been one of my favorite producers and DJs for a while. |

This sounds pretty strange to me lol...dat drop at 18min followed by Joris Voorn Goodbye Fly, then Daft Punk with no blending at all :conf: |

downloaded the mp3
using VLC and skip-advancing keeps shifting that time sig. at the point you mention around.
(saw it anywhere between 18:23/24 and 18:01/02)
maybe something wrong with the file, or even the recording?
If it were vinyl, sounds like a needle-skip...
But the mood here is nice, hope the tba location can keep up. |

I didn't even check that out until it was mentioned in this thread.
This is the real set...

Realllllly looking forward to this. Huge, HUGE, fan of the Kompakt label for its intricate melodies that incorporate so much love and emotion. Every year I look forward to their Pop Ambient mixes, so good.
Daytime party with the label's head honcho, couldn't have asked for anything better as I make my return from DEMF- hmm..well, it'd be something else if Blkm threw Gabor in the mix jussayin :thepirate |
