What is this I am listening to, ambient, two step, dubstep, vocals mixed with EDM, some guy on mescaline and a keyboard?

Around 3 years everyone in the underground shat their pants at the thought of a new james blake release. His 2009/2010 releases easily were some of the best stuff to come out of the whole dubstep aftermath.
Then he inevitably went more indie with his debut album. It wasn't that much of a huge step from his previous material but the dance music community mostly thought it was let down or sell out while indie outles ate it up like crazy.
Now he's pretty much doing straight pop with very few hints of dubstep or whatever. I like some of the tracks on the new album but some don't do anything for me. I like this one, it kinda sounds like a justin timberlake track.

Some of his older stuff. I think overall CMYK on R&S is his strongest release.

i feel like motor city drum ensemble is the best thing to emerge in the last 5-6 years.

New album is boring as hell. He didn't even break down sobbing for real once. Total waste.

Never really been a big fan. Some of his earlier work was interesting for a bit, but I typically found myself getting bored halfway through even the interesting tracks.

Don't know too much about the guy. I was briefly introduced to him by another PhT while I was doing my hospital rotation last year. Thought this remix was pretty good. On my last day I went up to the 4th floor waiting area, gazed down at the city through the windows, while playing this on my headphones. Was a good moment.
