2 explosions by the marathon finish line, 2 dead, dozen or so with missing limbs... another bomb was found but did not explode and yea a 4th bomb exploded at the JFK library... Boston is on lock down...
pissed i decided to do the right thing and go to work today... my girl, many close friends, and father are all up there right now, they are safe at the moment thankfully |

| Yeah...my little sister goes to MIT and I've just been trying to call her for the past couple of minutes to make sure she's alright. Apparently phone service isn't down, but the volume of calls in the Boston area is what's causing problems. |

The JFK Library incident was not related. It was an electrical fire in the new part of the building...just horrible timing.
My girlfriend's mom and sister were on the same block when the explosions as they volunteer for John Han- one of the sponsors of the race. They ran for their lives.
My sister who is a law student at BC was en route to dinner with her friends right on Boylston Street and were going to hit up the bars right around where both bombs went off. My parents were not able to reach her for hours.
I'm more disgusted with all the political banter and bull (including someone that said that they understand why people wanna bomb the US) that has nothing to do with what happened yesterday that's out there.
I'm truly disgusted with this planet. I have lost most faith in this planet for many reasons in my 28 years but I will say this....Those medical, police, and fire personnel that RAN TOWARDS the bombs going off right away are heroes!
I know this is something NYC knows all too well :( |
