I disagree. The Full on Ferry is a bunch of B2B sets which I haven't seen (officially) happen at the Guv in the longest time. Also, Arty puts on a fantastic show and usually throws down some great trance in my opinion as does Tritonal.
That said, to each their own and I hope you have a fantastic long weekend! |

Ouch, that sucks about Arty. You're right though, Gareth & Ferry have both moved to a more electro sound. But with Ferry doing these B2Bs maybe it'll be different. You never know, right?
Also, gotta wonder what'll happen to the Main Room set times now that Arty isn't spinning. |

Ya, I've heard that Ferry track not the biggest fan of it lyrically but I actually like it even though it isn't my usual preference. Also, like I said, I am hoping the B2B action will raise Ferry to another level. Was not very unimpressed with his set at LoL 2012 so hoping he redeems himself.
Was really happy to see Arty managed to get through customs.
Also, there are some DJs who sucked for a few years after being awesome and are now awesome again. I remember I saw PvD years and years ago after being a big fan and thought he was terrible. Recently I have been seeing him live again and he's regained the magic in my opinion.
In terms of Gareth, he has - as far as I know - always maintained that he "make[s]+play[s] simple but effective electronic music." We ascribe trance music to him because that's what he pretty much started with but if he wants to grow into different areas of EDM, that's his call. Some of us will enjoy it and others won't. What can you do.
