4AM Remix

What is a 4AM remix? I thought it was Dash Berlin remixing his own tracks but other DJs are now using the term. I couldn't find anything online that explains what it is.
Anyone knows?

| 4am is a headliner slot, it pretty much means that at this hour people is high enough on drugs and drunk so you can play music less melodic,elaborated, vocal... just raw stuff that blasts you from the speakers which is exactly what people want at this time frame. |

Thanks for the response. Are you saying that Dash Berlin has nothing to do with it?
So is it simply a remix type signifying that it's suitable best to be played at the 4AM slot? |

| Short answer is that it's a term that means nothing i don't know why he started labelling his remixes like this, probably in his case it means it's not a pop remix. |

pretty much. You really shouldn't use Dash Berlin as any sort of reference point when it comes to dance music. You only stand to lose that way. |
