you sure it says life? because if I was the tattoo artist and some white chick wants Japanese or Chinese character for tattoo, I'd ensure they get something like 'slut' or 'dumb ass stupid bitch' :toothless |

It says midnight... in English. They just used the Japanese script.
Edit: And, as I recall it, Jenny's tattoo does mean life. No worries there. By the way, you can't change it to "suck mine", but you can change it to "command" and say "Suck mine: this is my command". |
