It's officially out now on iTunes. IMO... BAD ASS SONG!!!! Hopefully the rest of the CD is even better.

Seems like they released it ahead of what they wanted to because it got leaked?
DjWoody
Nope. It had already been scheduled for yesterday's release.
Nerologic
Ahh okay, I see.

Honestly I really like the instrumental of the track but I'm not feeling pharrells vocals past the intro they feel too whiny.
ramsau
I really do like the track and the collaboration. Works very well in my opinion.
Nerologic
They are playing tonight at Coachella.

edit: huge fail no special guest to this point. :/

I completely agree with you.

I don't think it's that great, but at the same time I can't get the out of my f'n head. Nor can my wife. So we just listen to it constantly, lol.

Vocals are OK, nothing terrible. Nothing great either.
Song is generic overall.

It's the lyrics, though...the lyrics are just infectiously catchy and will make this an insanely popular hit and it's going to give DP a huge boost on its album sales.

Sounds like generic top40 radio music to me, but I'm also expecting the entire album to be that way, short of one or two songs. I'm sure the top40 radio stations and the ty local frat party DJs will eat it alive though.

love it!

heard it on Sirius XM today at the GYM :)

And so it's begins.... I started hearing ty electro "remixes"/mashups of it on mixshows. So lame. I'm a firm believer that if you don't have anything creatively/artistically to add to the song and take it to the next level, you should leave it alone.
