Digital LAB, one of the producers behind the hit single, "Hit It," which released on Steve Angello's Size Records is coming to Stage 48 in NYC on Friday, April 26.
Digital LAB Biography: Digital LAB a.k.a Jared Matos was born into music, being surrounded by it and influenced by it by his hispanic family. Beats were always surroundng him and throughout his early life in Puerto Rico. After coming to Miami Florida, he began an interest in playing the guitar, after taking some classes in highschool. After that, he was hooked, music became his passion and something he just couldnt let go of. Then, he found electronic music, he enjoyed trance and electro so much, he began to delve into how it was made. After finding a demo of FL Studio back in its early days, he was hooked, and that was it. Many sounds influence him especially his hispanic beats from the old days. A master of drum programming some people call him, he can spit out any beat in a matter of minutes. Many good things lay ahead for this producer/dj, its only a matter of time when youll have him all over your cd book.
Digital LABs music has reached from DJs like Laidback Luke to the world renowned Pete Tong, as his single iRock gained play on the famous BBC Radio 1. Digital LABS remix of the hit "Stickin" also received play on Radio 1 on DJ Zincs Essential Mix, and gained praise as one of the best remixes of the single and many plays in Laidback Lukes sets himself. His single "Your Love" reached the number 1 vocal house track onTrackitdown.net and reached number 3 in the top100 tracks on the renown download site. In 2010 Digital LAB was signed to Vicious Records and began work on releasing a slew of massive singles and collaborations with Angger Dimas. Look out this year for many exciting remixes on such labels such as Spinnin', Dim Mak, Vicious and MixMash, its sure to be a big year for this new kid on the block whos been named one of the next producers to look out for in the new year!
