easiest possible solution will require a bit of homework up front.... (im also making an assumption that you have some kind of business development / client liason role within your company)
Go through the client list that has been invited to said event.... highlight the top 3 or 4 names that frequently benefit from your promotional budget (ie identify the top boozers from your client list)
at said event, pair yourself up with one or more of these individuals and maintain pace with them (always stay 1 to 2 drinks behind unless you are a complete lightweight, but you need to be at least 1 to 2 degrees of wasted less than the client) This will allow you to partake in the fun gambling / whoring and drinking activities while maintaining the appearance of entertaining a client.... therefore party time becomes work time. |
