After the enthusiastic response to our first party at Open House, we're excited to present on Friday May 24th another night of dynamic and compelling music, this time featuring RoryJames, Lucas PM, James Halpin and Tim Robert.
The setting for this Memorial Day weekend kickoff will be the Sapphire Lounge in the Lower East Side. Once again you can expect a lively underground vibe as Rory, Lucas, James and Tim create a seamless blend of progressive and deep tech sounds.

Tim Robert is a New York City-based musician whose great love of music has led him from rock songwriting & performance to EDM production and DJing. After touring and recording with rock bands and writing music for theater and film, Tim discovered dance music through NYC clubbing. Thrilled by the power, energy and musical adventurousness of progressive house and trance, Tim began studying EDM production and started DJing live.
In late 2010, Mistique Music included on their VA004 Album Tim's debut original track "Panodrama", which Release Promo DJ Pool called "the gem" of the compilation. In 2012, LuPS Records released Tim's original track "Launch Angle" and two remixes by Tim. This past March, Tim's remix of Loquai's "Back Home" was released on Jetlag Digital and was included on Beatport's "10 Must Hear Progressive House Tracks" list. Summer 2013 will see the release of more tracks and remixes by Tim on Jetlag Digital and LuPS Records. As a live DJ, Tim has appeared at venues such as Love, the Open House basement, the Pacha basement and the Red Velvet Lounge. His style ranges from darkly hypnotic to intensely grooving, and is firmly focused on moving the dance floor. Tim also hosts the monthly internet radio show "Headlands", which airs on Pure.FM Progressive Channel, and is available as a podcast on iTunes and Podbean.

James Halpin appreciates and studies all forms of music for their mind altering and intoxicating properties. He's honed in on electronic music as the most effective and universal modern sound to accomplish this. With influences ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to The Doors to The Chemical Brothers, his goal is to create a communal experience stimulated by music.
His sound explores the deeper and more intricate aspects of electronic music and has been described as adaptive, liquid, and provocative.
Venues he's performed at include Solas, Label Lounge, Grotto, Hotel on Rivington, Hacienda, Recoup Lounge, Club Love, Pacha, Sullivan Room and Lazarza.

Anyone who has seen Lucas PM live knows that he brings enormous talent and dedication to the decks. Having appeared at venues such as Sullivan Room, Santos Party House and the National Underground, Lucas has consistently demonstrated a true understanding of the essence of DJing. Whether setting the tone early or tearing it up at peak-time, Lucas knows how to craft sets that build atmosphere and ignite the floor. With his aptly named company Eklectronic, Lucas has extended his versatility to events, with nights that are exciting not only for their eclecticsim but for their energy and flow. Music speaks louder than words. It is easier to understand RoryJames by the feelings that get expressed through his sound. Inspired mainly by 80’s electronica, along with the trancemasters M.I.K.E., Chris Cowie, Airwave, and Oliver Lieb, Rory has obtained a knowledge high enough to pump out huge tunes while managing to keep distinctiveness not by choice.
After a short time in the studio, Rory’s tunes have already seen the light of day and the dark of club with releases on Metallic Recordings, Conspiracy Recordings, and Sorcery Records. His tunes have reached the music arsenals of names such as M.I.K.E. Tom Colontonio, Mark Andrez, Activa, Jon O’Bir, Frase, Suzy Solar, John Askew, Eddie Halliwel, Alex M.O.R.P.H, Aly & Fila, and Sean Tyas just to name a few, and the list will inevitably expand even further.
On top of spinning alongside Greg Downey, Mat Zo, DJ Eco, Breakfast, Bissen, and headlining a night at Colombina Night Club in Poland, he had recently embarked on a journey to Belgium in to play his first big festival performance after being crowned the winner of the TranceAddict Tomorrowland 2011 Festival DJ Contest. Lined up with the big boys Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, Simon Patterson, Arnej, and Orjan Nilsen, Rory got the chance to showcase his skills and tell exactly what he's all about.
If you get a chance to experience RoryJames behind the decks, expect nothing but the real contents – emotional melodies, driving hi hats, rolling basslines, atmospheric pads, and thumpin kicks. The stuff that raises the hair on every centimeter of the body, the uplifting emotional epicness that will leave the listener in a perfect state.
