Hybrid@SYSTEM Review !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first it was pretty boring ... straight up progressive, but once they started to drop the NU SKOOL BREAKS !!! It was just one of the member of the crew spinning. I hate LIVE PA's b/c it's just track after track .. no mixing at all and it gets REALLY BORING. System was turned into a different world !!! ING AMAZING !!! I haven't heard something so unique ever before and my mouth just dropped. HYBRID's breaks set was just out of this ING world !!! Every element of our muzuk scene was blasted into 1 form of muzuk. BREAKS,PROGESSIVE,TRANCE,JUNGLE,HOUSE & TECHNO beats were all blended so clean. I'm being dead serious here ... I haven't danced that ing hard for almost 2 yrs now. ENUFF respect to all the wicked dancers that battle with me ... ya know how you are ;) that circle was huge around us. The most PERFECT ELECTRONIC MUZUK EVER !!! Now I know why everyone loves HYBRID !!! TRUST me ... for all those TA's that missed this night, might aswell grab a gun and end your life LOL ;)J/K

That was such a treat on my BDAY !!! Special thanks goes to my GF ... Rebecca,Will,Dan(Happy BDAY nigga !!!),Karen,Alex from DEEPGROOVE,Fuzion,Tatgirl,Time2Burn, MC JD,Karem and the list goes on and on !!! ING AMAZING NIGHT !!!

UP NEXT .... DJ ING HYPE@KOOL HAUS for SYROUS 9yrs Anni. !!!

The night was really bumpin at system.... there were more people than ususal, which i personally like... i must admitt i do love :tongue3 progressive, and matt scaife was spinnin some hard sets!
but i really got into Hybrid......he played wicked breaks and like galvatron was saying, he really blended everything in.....
overall wicked night..... with positive vibes from everyone....

oh my only negative thing to say about system is that the speakers are a tad too loud..... i love it when its loud but sometimes i just can't dance near the front when i want to... im worried that one day ill leave that place permanently deaf! next time ill bring some ear-plugs! :thepirate

so it was only one guy from Hybrid then? thats good coz i already seen them live :D i wonder who it was live though, Chris or Mike? :) either way good to see TA's coming out and supporting Hybrid's magical sounds and mixing :) if there was only more of TA's like that here in toronto...

Well its Monday Morning and here I am back in front of this screen with a review the from the weekend.

Got to System around 11:30pm and walked right in free of Charge. Thanks Alex! Sacife was his usual up and down progressive, although not one of his more upbeat sets as Im use to.
Then Hybrid graced the tables.... WOW! It was both of them for the record, and they used Systems speakers to the max! I thought for sure they were going to blow them. Nice Progressive ( They played one of my favorites - Kinky Funk) set, and the breaks!!! Just like at Kool Haus, and the crowd loved it!! I met a few new TA's, Tatgirl and I am sorry but I forget your name man, Real tall dude!!! Nice meeting you both!! Thanks for comming to say hi!
All in all I gave night a generous 8/10 as its been a while since I danced to breaks, lots of friends I havent seen in a while there, and met some new TA's.
Next week is Pappa!!
Have a good week....

Time2Burn & I were the "TA Welcome Wagon". I don't have much to report on this show, cuz quite frankly, the 2 of us were in 'our own world', deep in discussion on the couch, not really caring what Hybrid was playing. We ended up hanging in the VIP room listening to some trance, & left when that room closed up at 5am. Ended up at the after-party til 3:30pm the next day, mostly due to my inability to move since I was pretty dehydrated from the heat the day b4 and from lack of drinking water. Thanks for sticking it out with me, As. My headache finally went away around 2-3am Sat. nite, but it put a damper on my ability to enjoy the Harvest Festival the way I would've liked to.....

Ya my review goes the same way... Minus the headache. Sorry to hear it was still throbbing at Harvest fest. Had a great time but yeah didn't get to hear much of hybrid :(. Fuzion's set in the VIP was good enough for me - Gimme trance and I'll be there. I have a hard time getting into the dancing mode at system more of a chill and chat place for me :(... But thats all gonna change October 4th (Thanks for marching over and egtting my ticket Nat... yay!)

Highlight of the night was definetly the after party though. Hanging out with cool people, cool tunes, and great moments is what its all about.

Highlights: "e"tellectual coversations and of course "Autumn Tactics" and what preceeded it!! ;) :D

Sorry Time2Burn.

I thought that was the name but I only heard your name faintly as we were in the middle of the dance floor when you said it. Again it was nice meeting you two! I don't know a lot of TA's even though I have been on the site for a while, its good to meet them when I can. I recognized Tatgirl right from the start, and time to burn you are a giant!!
Anyways so you guys went to Harvest Festival too? Nice weekend eh? And you said "Autumn Tactics" - hope it was Chicane's mix ;)
See ya at Picatto!!
