I'm kinda a newbie when it comes to trancemusic, mostly listening to metal but listen to trancemusic when i feel for it.
Any ways, i was listening to the album "a state of trance year mix 2012" on spotify and i fell in love with the song The Ocean by Paul Van Dyk. It felt very "dreamy" and it blew my mind how i lost myself in the music. Now i wan't to find more songs/albums just like that song, i would be happy if you could help me out.

Yea I really enjoyed that track the first time I listened to it 'Paul van Dyk feat. Arty - The Ocean', I always recommend trance newbies to go listen to Trance Radio shows like ASOT and Group Therapy, but then It's up to you on how deep down the rabbit hole you want to go, Electronic music is massive, when I say massive, I mean MASSIVE, you'll find similar tracks and even better tracks in no time mate.

I think as far as the matters of taste are so complicated, may be you should try an automatic recommendation system like the one on last.fm or mufin.com?
