Fans who saw him the first time in 2007 is already a huge upgrade from the 90% of his new "superfans" that just heard of him 2 years ago. "'In & Out Of Love' is a trance megaclassic", etc.. |

| last time i saw him was in '04 when his central park gig was switched to crobar and he knocked out a 6hr set. i imagine his sets now to be 99% 'don't you worry child"-esque. |

I remember his Roxy show in 2002. He dropped Summer calling (airwave mix)!
ha...just for laughs, I found the original TA thread which discusses his 2002 show at the Roxy. I think that was the first time he played in NY (or even the US)

the thing I loved bout Armin shows in the past was that he always some great openers: Luke Fair, Remy, Perry O'neil,
Armin is at HQ Beach club in AC on May 26...but god knows that will be a show. I hope it rains that day
hahahahah |

its great how EVERY thread turns into a back in the good ol' days thread talking about 02-04 parties!
maybe we should have a old folks subforum for the older generation of NYTA's here lol |

actually luke fair never showed up to that gig, i think it was jason jollins or another nyc who stepped in last min to fill the slot
but yea i get what you're saying
some of the best clubbing memories have been remy and armin nights
you knew going in it was gonna be a great night of music |

Yeah you're right !! The new yolo fans are the ones I can't stand:happy2:
It's a shame weather kept Armin from playing that central park gig but he ripped it at crowbar anyways. :eyespop:
That show at Arc was a Wednesday if not mistaken !! 11am-2am set but owner gave him the okay to keep playing till 3am (I think) Nowadays he plays for 2 hours and they call it ARMIN only hahaha:haha: |
