Forgive me for asking, but which effects are done to the snare here?

skip to 3:10

following the melody, you'll hear Tiesto mess around with the snare. all I know is he removes the bass and mess around with some filters, but I honestly have no idea what else he does to give it that scratching and echoing effect. just what did he do to make it sound so distorted?

does anyone know? lol. I know I got bashed for asking questions regarding technical effects, but this one was really hard for me to figure out

I listened for a full minute and a half, which technically now you should give back, after 3:10 and didn't hear any effects being applied.

listen again, follow the melody that plays along. you can hear Tiesto plays around with the effects and makes it sound different ^___^

I didn't hear much effects/difference in the snare which comes in around 3:45, but what I did hear was almost definitely a simple flanger/phaser effect. That's what's giving it that strange wooshing sound at least.
