I feel like all i listen to is crap! Like that Southpark episode when Stan feeled everyone was talking bricks out of their mouths and the same with his confiscated music which has begun to sound like .

I feel the general taste in this forum has swayed from my taste a great deal or either my music taste has gotten so good i am looking down on everyone elses. No kidding!

What the hell should i do?

Have you tried making more of an effort to dig instead of being a douche?

Pretty much all the TAs who are comically angry about trance music (and there's no shortage) are obviously not finding any music they like, are not going clubbing and are not having a good time. And you are one of the more laughably uptight and angry members when it comes to lurking around and complaining.

I would say your problem is probably that you've been listening to such a narrow little body of music for so long you have no diversity in your tastes, and so inevitably the amount of music you like is going to grow narrower and narrower while you incrementally get bored of the sound you do like. So you either learn to like music rather than just progressive trance, or you accept you were never really a music lover in the first place and give up the ghost.

Happy trails.

I say this a lot but when Platipus gets their together there should be some quality progressive trance(not that there isn't already). Did you like Gibbon/Baboon at all?

Once you indulge it just will lead to overindulgence. Maybe you enjoy variety like myself but still haven't discovered that person or group that branches you out to something new. Looking back, trance was like a gateway genre which introduced me to other stuff.

Also, it could be neurological thing where you brain is just sick of the same patterns in the music. I can really take much more than an hour with trance music until I need some breaks or DnB. It just seems to tire out my ears faster.

You have no idea how broad my music taste is nor what i listen to at the current. You comment is nothing but laughable at best. You think the only thing i listen to is Progressive House? Get a clue! Progressive House is something i moved beyond ages ago. Guess you took my former posts into account so that's what your comment is based on.

And I don't mean to mock down everyone elses tastes so i'll take that back sorry! I just wanted to start a good disscussion. If your taste is so good you could tip me on good artists, labels and what neat tricks you have in your sleeve to pick up good music?

You guys need to chill out! It's not forbidden to bitch once in a while. I just take music seriously and dry seasons make me mad!

I can't thank trance enough! It made way for more music genres to be discovered! I still listen to trance but i haven't had the time to listen to anything newer than early 00's and mostly sets around that period.
