Mix Junky!!
Hey guys, started using ableton lately to take my DJ'n into a production stage and to give it a go. Looking for some tips for good tutorials vids that will give me a heads up on what I need to learn at the start and to just generally get me going :)) any help welcome guys. Cheers.

Buy a one-month all-access pass for $15 and you'll be up to speed in no time. You'll have online access to every video series in every category that they offer during that time. I wouldn't buy the download versions - they cost more and most of this stuff you'll learn once, so you won't need to watch it again anyway.

Yup

And if you think $15 is too much, then give up now.

Yeah, when you put it that way, screw the tutorials - just get drunk and start clicking on Ableton's UI.

imo the best way to learn is to watch a few hours of videos to see what's up with the software and then to spend 5 hours reading the manual so you know everything. That's the hardest and quickest way to learn. You could also watch hundreds of hours of videos or around for hundreds of hours but ultimately you won't know as much as if you read the manual.

How many ableton threads do we need?

Why not try other tutorials. I have found a software that I think will help you in your production.
