have you seen the live episodes on hbo? I think they are a bit different than the ones they post on the net, similar in approach. I'd like to see the drugs in russia and colombia net versions in the hbo format.

I'm not a huge fan of VICE's reporting, it always strikes me as rather juvenile and not very deep, but I'll give them props for going to cool locations and getting good shots.

Been a fan of Vice now for years & the best one was Liberia. Their show on HBO has been great but as the OP said, too short.
One complaint, the episode on Philippines was a little misleading.
