Sooooo

I must shamefully admit, I've never heard the J00F podcasts. I stopped listening to radios or podcasts since 2008 of ASOT.

Since 2008 I've heard people mention over and over about J00F. It seems to be renowned, so I'll give it a shot~

If anything who follows up with really great tracks, give me a list of their top favorite 5 tracks that they found through J00F himself or his radio show? It could be anything in the last 4-5 years.

I do apologize for jumping the bandwagon so late.

For starters...

J00F's pretty much assimilated every good trance artist and label going. It's quite frustrating if you're a trance DJ trying to do your own thing. If you see J00F in a club he will never play half the stuff you hear on GTG. These days his modus operandi is generally to move from banging techno into storming prog-psy, and yet he will still support guys like Solar Fields and the Mistique crew on his radio show, so even though I've been playing all that for four or five years, I now look like a J00F fanboy. Very irritating.

If only Joof supported John Askew material, I'd be a huge fan.

digital blonde - serenade
timewave - supersonic
LSG - netherworld (oliver prime mix)

I think you should check out Christopher Lawrence. He gets in some Discover stuff from time to time on his radio show. Interesting to note that at one point some people said Christopher Lawrence and J00F played the same style with J00F being the more 'underground' of the two. Currently, Christopher has become a lot of the psy DJ and not just accesible prog stuff but rather Full-on and Festival style sound which is almost too much for any of today's club scene to handle.

The next episode of Global Trance Grooves might be a good place to start. From John's FB:

I've got a treat for you on next week's Global Trance Grooves. The past few weeks we seem to have hours of GTG to listen too due to our 10 years celebrations, so rather than give you yet another regular show, I've made a Deep mix and Turbo mix of my all time ultimate favourite tracks of the past ten years. There's some gems in there!
Subtle
Here is one

Pretty much all his radio shows (Rush Hour) are up on his soundcloud page and have full tracklistings.
