You're so full of it's unbelievable, you PM'd me asking about my composer friend, George, who works with Elfman and Warner Bros.

:stongue:

Weirdly small world. I have in a way worked on some of his projects, if it's the same George? (Does a lot of BBC Docu stuff too?).

not really, we don't have an internet friendship. People like Intellektual are just pathetic, you shouldn't call someone 'a good friend' unless you've met them in real life and done stuff together.

Thus said, we have a real person-to-person relationship. My friend, George, is in no way or fashion English or a BBC person for that matter. lol

He's a fifty-something year old grumpy old man.

While I believe this is true in some circumstances, especially if it turns romantic, there are people I know solely online that I consider good friends, some that I consider especially close friends as well. I've known people here like Echos for 10 years now and we've been friends the entire time and we regularly communicate outside of the forums. I'd def consider her to be a close friend.

Granted it still feels different when you have never met them physically, I don't think all the interlocks can latch emotionally in terms of a friendship, but with people like her I have def confided in and they have confided in me as well. In some ways its nice to have some "internet only" friends because you still get that bit of anonymity (and it can get ed up when you meet IRL, ie: citric and I every time we decide to meet haha).

Besides i think Eddie and Selma made music together.. literally. Didn't she sing on one of his tracks? That's doing stuff together.

Yeah, Soundcloud link's busted, though. Eddie really scrubbed himself from the internets. :sadgreen:
OrangestO
I don't blame him.

Internet suicide is a girl thing usually. Therefore Eddie is a girl.
OrangestO
I wish I had the self restraint to do it or the self discipline when using it.

It's such a time waster, so again, I don't blame the guy. I'll get there eventually.

I mean, Nou, you get yourself purposely banned and still lurk on here.

Self restraint? Self discipline?

Right? And then he has them remove his ban just so he can tell us he was pepper sprayed by the girl he was stalking from his poetry class.
