nobody uses ebay the way you do. I mean literally. You are the only person that starts off the bidding at the desired price without a buy it now option. It makes no sense. You will not find one example for any item of value which would indicate the person has accrued some money and would indicate cognition. Seriously. It is baffling how you don't seem to understand the concept of initial bid price and the reserve function.
you are just making it harder to sell. It really isn't my business and you have every right to tell me to off but i just don't understand how you don't see the logic. It pains me. It really come down to simple marketing. People will bid with no intention to ever buy. Now those bids might seem pointless but they are actually crucial in getting someone to buy something they don't need ie what you are selling. This is an impulse purchase. The odds of people buying with no other bids is really really low. It is the same reason why say not being offered credit will lower your credit. Or not being hired makes you less hireable in the next interview. People assume there is something wrong. Having no other bids will make your item seem somehow off. just like people will not enter a restaurant that isn't busy. This is just common sense, I mean don't you ever just stop and ask why you do things or buy things and sort of realize . |

it really isn't. This isn't opinion and there is study upon study regarding impulse shopping. People will talk about the reserve price as a waste of money on forums but they are selling cheap items. You are selling a luxury good which is really an impulse buy. Nobody needs a virus.
And your description and layout also just lower the value of your item. Your item is not rare. You really should read up on how to sell . You could sell that for more money in less time.

My goal in life is not to be a top ebay user thats why my rank is only 52. I said before i just need the space.
