i've never been to williamsburg, i don't know where north wythe is

you can't honestly tell me that brooklyn bowl has no hipsters, between brooklyn bowl and the gutter and almost every establishment in or around williamsburg is a SWARM of hipsters

maybe i should be helpful instead of criticizing?

i would skip going near bedford to pregame and just head there for CC.

to pregame (i don't often ever give out publicly 'my spots') but if you want good beer (not that cheap PBR drink 75 beers to get drunk) i'd wander over to:

Spuyten Duyvild, recommend Edel Weisse
wonderful tap selection, but I'm more of a bottle guy
they carry local micro's as well so be sure to look at the chalk board for new they carry.

For eats..stroll 3-4 blocks and head over to Best Pizza on havemayer

you're welcome..

Counting Room also has some of the best cocktails I've had in this town (if that's your dig).

oh yea counting room is pretty mint also, i've been there on packed nights (cause:effect) and then others where it's completely DEAD! so strange because it's so close to a lot of places and the area can be filled with a good night vibe as well as a desolate brooklyn shipping yard

Well, if they're at BBowl, they do it on the stealth.

I can't recall a loose tie at the place when I've been there, and I've been going there for a long time (maybe the wait-staff?)
Back when BBowl was founded, I don't think hipsters existed in Williamsburg.

Was there just last night and I know that there weren't any of them there last night by the looks of the crowd.

Any that blend in that well, can't be all bad.

You've never been to BBowl?
Despite the name, I think of it as a music place with an attached bowling alley, not the other way around.

Mix of acts is very good, RJD2's set a while back was fun, and they get a lot of good jamtronica....

just wonder in tmw to look at the liquid and dry menues, open for free for once, which isn't often

Def. NOT a cocktail place, seeing the counting room comments.
cocktails, now that speaks hipster to me...

i was being sarcastic, it's not easy to detect on the forums..

you'd be surprise at the counting room, i know i was and right next to it is Whiskey Brooklyn is also right next door (same owners as whiskey tavern - ctown) you can grab some great pickle backs there

i'd still choose Spuyten Duyvil over any of them tbh, i enjoy good beer
diabloargentino

How late do these weeknight parties go? Are we looking at 9pm-3am, 10pm-4am, or 11pm-6am?

Skeptic
it, I'm going to this. Since I will be riding solo, does anybody know what would be easiest way to get to the club by public transport from Jersey City?
