Have you seen pictures Porter uploads and puts on his twitter? I bet you haven't. The funny thing is, almost every time he does, there's a different girl he's very close to in each picture. As for drugs, just look at the guy. He obviously does them.

I knew you would post this again, track is OK 6/10 maybe 7/10 that's it, i know better tracks, anything from Wolfgang Gartner (maybe not now) ,Knife Party, Shreddie Mercury. Same applys to madeon, yes, they made 2 or 3 tracks that were innovative in their time, they haven't changed their signature sound at all and more talented people have jumped into that bandwagon.
I think everything spins around the fact that he is young (20?) not that young, we are not talking about a Mozart like prodigy that is creating class A stuff at the age of 6. For me the age in musical terms has nothing to do, in business is a different story as if someone at the age of 18 is making music close to people with over 15 years of experience then this might be a future star but as for now... i just want good music doesn't matter if it's made by a 60 years old.
This is not a rant about edm but about everything, i don't want a young prime minister, or a young soccer player on my favourite team, i just want the best one, if by the age of 25 is already as great or better than him---> Ok move on, (bowes).
Personally i find i can't make this stuff right now i find it too complex for me at this point i would need some tutorials to start making that but if he chose a hard genre doesn't affect that there are better people at it.

He started making "complextro" to emulate Spencer and Hill, Lazy Rich, Felguk and Wolfgang Gartner. You can even find proof of that if you go read his old twitter from when he produced Hands Up as Ekowraith.
He also called BT a deity on that twitter. So take from that what you will.
It's actually kind of crazy to see the parallels between Porter's and my own interests in dance music. We both started to listen to the same artists at the same time lol.
