quite good, pity of psytrance is that when you go to a psy rave you can expect 8 hours of the same bassline ocasionally filled with some minimal (which btw has a lot in common) this however may be entertaining , he released recently this track that also adds some variation. Is good to see an artist that takes time to finish his tracks and works more than a few hours on them.

Why does Psy as a genre favor cd's as their primary format of release?

This the last EIGHT WEEKS of psy releases on Juno. Note how there's about 6 of them and they are all cd except for 1.

I've noticed that lately shopping for Goa and some Dub Techno. Obviously cheaper than vinyl and maybe they like the physicality still. I actually feel weird buying a digital album nowadays, guess I'm old; but when you buy a CD its buying direct so they get all the money.

Back on topic:

I never really got into anything from him, but his remix of Juno Reactor - Congo Fury was decent.

As I explained to you last time you asked this question, it stems from the goa scene's exotic origins. A lot of the early parties took places in tropical climates in the likes of India and Thailand, often in the jungle or in other remote places, and the hardware needed to be sturdy and easily portable to survive in those conditions. Vinyl was simply too delicate and cumbersome, not to mention it could quite literally melt in the heat, so it never took hold as a medium.

As for Ace Ventura, he has a couple of decent tracks but generally dabbles in the extremely boring side of prog-psy, and that tracklist looks thoroughly yawn-inducing.

It would be nice if he had an Ace Ventura hairdo.
