Really, really into it right now.and you'll get used to it just give it some try

Try producers from middle east, believe me that is the .Especially Israel, those guys are born into psy

It seems like a lot of these guys are from Israel; it must be a big scene over there. I only ever saw 1 live act, by Alien Project, at Spirit in NYC about 7 or 8 years ago. I'm surprised my legs didn't complete separate from my body that night. :D

I don't like Psy from the same reason, but these guys are always an exception :)

haha look at 5:50 in the video, the guy behind the speaker lol is ing high haha. I am not surprised you like Astral Projection and specially this track they are good but at the same time their music is not hard edge psy trance.

80% of big names in psytrance come from Israel and surroundings yes, the goa variant is very famous in India with big festivals like Sunburn, i've heard that Mexico has also a big scene.

Baby alligator noise is also essential in psytrance.

I've been listening to Psy this past week and I love it. I also enjoy when J00F dabbles in it. Its got a ravey old school hard flair that I really enjoy. Love the basslines.

And most of it is just a simulacra of the dominant full-on x-dream style circa 1998. Ever been to a psy party? Aching mediocrity.

Yeah, I've been to many. It is irritating that there's so many varieties of psy but all you usually hear at an event is wall-to-wall full-on, from the first act to the last. Luckily psy-breaks seems to be growing in popularity at these events, because that's just about the most fun thing in the world to dance to.

Whose alt are you, anyway?

x-dream has a few tracks without that hidious kick. see irritant and thorazin. one of them has an awesome sounding bass/kick, i just dont remember which one of them atm (dont have sound here).

I used to think psytrance was cool, then I went to a psy event and dosed acid by mistake, I left thinking "what ugly music".

I dunno, it's okay, but it's ugly. There's something about it which is too dirty and souless(?) for me.
