BT and Porter Robinson drama

Did anyone by chance see BTs rant on twitter recently? It's pretty entertaining. He basically called out Porter Robinson, while getting as many people as he could involved.
What was most funny about it was Tiesto retweeting it and agreeing. That post has since been taken down... Kinda funny since Porter was part of Tiesto's college tour. The fact that the tweet was taken down leads me to believe his managers must have gotten involved.
What I took from all this was the scene has grown so much at this point that we're now starting to see like the old stories I used to read in Rolling Stone with bands falling out and talking about each other.

btw, interesting drama between BT and Matt Lange as well. If you read this page about the whole porter robinson affair:

about half-way down, BT (or someone who claims to be him) also calls out Matt Lange as someone who "disingenuous, stolen my ideas, modalities, techniques, methodologies and even sound libraries"
I love Matt Lange productions. Im surprised that BT would mention Matt by name. |

these 2 will pretend there will be bad blood yada yada yada in a few weeks they will make up and make a track together

| I’m not usually one to rag on how people look but why on earth is BT rocking the 14 year old justin bieber haircut? There is something creepy about 40 year olds trying to emulate the current teenage trends. Holy .. talk about a midlife crisis. |

when i was under 20 i used to think that it was weird when guys in later 20's used to hit on college girls (barely 21). Now as a guy in that range i don't see anything wrong with me hitting on a younger girl. (Well by hitting i mean finding them attractive. i got no game :toothless )
So now i don't judge people older then me. Life changes your perspective with time. Never assume you will always look at things in same perspective.
Even though that haircut screams "self - insecurity" issues to most of us. Who knows how he really feels about it. |

| on the topic of the OP, not BTs haircut, regardless of if it's a setup publicity stunt his point came across well and it's worth noting that a lot of artists do very easily get engulfed in their own ego. i've started producing and passed work in progress tracks and collabs back and forth with guys who don't even read my messages anymore, and they're not even on the touring level. i can't even imagine what it's like to deal with that even higher up the chain |

If you are in your 20's it isn't really weird but i'm in my 40's and i find it kind of strange when people my age try to mack 20 year old's haha
I definitely appreciate what he said although I have no clue who porter is, is that one of the current fad-mega-superstar electrohouse DJ’s like deadmouse?
(I must say find it odd he posted this on twitter instead of just making a post on his website or something. Posting thousands of characters on a site that only allows 140 per post seems kind of counterintuitive and silly) |
