There are Gods moving among the little moments of electronic music, and so they have done for 30 years. This is what happens when you demand no tribute.

i used to have two albums in the early 90s. one was the 12 inch anthology with the blue cover. the other i forgot, but i really enjoyed it. recommend any from pre 93 era?

You want good relevance before the 90s? The Remission EP (1984) is their first, and entirely worthy. Check out their 'Ain't It Dead Yet?' (1989) Live album to get an excellent feel of what they are all about. Their touring getup was always at the forefront of their art. By The Choke / First Aid you had best care, or it's not your thing, if you ask me.

This new album of theirs though... It's the most amazing thing since their reformation. So delightfully throwback electronic. It's perfect; though I am biased to the extreme.

Too Dark Park was from 1990. It is in my opinion their best album; so harsh, but warm with synthetic chaos made order by Ogre's vocals grounding us in the plagues of modern man, ever so much more relevant now. Presciently. Check that out, too.
