| Any speculations? Before; people were using trackers, now that is ancient, not saying its not relavent, new producers would be baffled. I wonder if there will be another leap, although I guess is just slowly evolving at this point INTO BLOATWARE haha. I want to mix tracks by solely flexing my erection. |

| Near-term trend is toward touch surfaces. Beyond that, sorry, but my crystal ball app keeps crashing. |

A virtual reality system would be nice. Gloves with force feedback that lets you physically touch all those virtual knobs and faders in a very special way.
If you're a child now *and* live long enough you might just see this one day.
Edit: heh it, now that I thought about it for longer than a second, no matter what gloves would be made of they'll be , feel wrong and weird and probably be sweaty too. |

I think that they're probably gonna be really easy to use.
Which irks me, because I don't want ANYONE to just be able to "pick it up and go".
The future is a sad world, ahaha. |

In the future people will realise they have all the tools already and focus on their skill and not the gear they're using.
No wait, that won't happen will it. |

The gear will never make it easy to make a good product. You should be worried if the education gets better, but I doubt that it will. |

I don't think it's going to stop any time soon, but it's not going to replace other more tactile options, either. It's obviously not a perfect technology, so there will always be a market for people who want something else. |

stability ?
and probably 10 more plugin protocols from protools. Actually, that is one thing companies need to sort out. A standard protocol that is future proof. |
