Seriously one of the most ridiculous techno mixes ever. Does this guy play tracks or just build on the fly? There's so much going on at once between efx, loops, samples. This guy is so legit.

| His sets have seriously lacked direction for the past three years. Not sure he adequately adapted to slower and darker techno with more space. Shame, as he was a master of tribal minimalism back in the day. Just ing listen to loudboxer or any of his sets from 01-03. |

He uses 4 deck Traktor, I think. He plays some good tracks with some smart programming but he has the same ing pumping bassline on for like 80% of the time it get's pretty tiring. |

have to admit that i havent been a huge fan of his stuff for the last couple of years, its just too heavy/subby - i noticed Liebing has moved to a slightly different sound recently and it sounds much better, more in line with the Drumcode sound
that said, if i heard speedy was playing live near me any time soon id be there in a flash :D |

Drumcode guys play tech house though. And Liebing can have good taste for his podcasts but his sets are kind of like Speedy's, they lack direction and don't really go anywhere. Rodhad is the German DJ I really have high hopes for, great programming. |

Comparing Liebing to Drumcode is like comparing a Ferrari to a Skoda. Most on Drumcode is beyond boring. |

| Try not to see him on the same lineup as Ruskin and Regis. Especially when they go b2b and hammer the crowd to kingdom come. I think that's clouding my judgment, a little. |
