Anyone preview this yet? My friend signed to Motor City Drum Ensemble's label, the EP is dropping on tuesday I believe and is the label's first 10 inch release. Beautifully crafted electronica, he spent months on these two tracks and it shows. The production value, the stereo imaging, incredible stuff. A2 for me is my fav.. Oh yeah and the Fred P Reshape is a banger.

What y'all think?

a1 is gorgeous. It's pretty much borderline indie-pop but I'm a sucker for these type of gloomy, vocal driven tracks.

I dont agree with your production value statement (stereo imaging included) there is just so much damn impressive sound engineering going on these days that this doesnt really seem to slice it for me. However, this track is awesome, I would like to reserve my full judgement until I listen to the whole track, 1 minute is not enough but im hooked(a1)!

Wait until you hear it on a record, with a proper sound system.. not the 128 bit upload of the vinyl mastering on soundcloud. I've listened to these tracks on Adam A7s, just beautiful. He spent weeks just sequencing and automating reverb busses. There's a reason MCDE took these tracks.. they have absolutely nothing to do with his sound or label in general.

These previews are mastered for vinyl pressing, not mastered for digital download. Two different processes. mannnnnn

And yes, analog sound is much better then digital, its science. Ask any sound engineer.

Everyone's been playing it all summer, its finally out.. Michael Gracioppo feat. Wayne Tennant - Creep, Dixon's weapon of mass destruction all summer long. The kick is so massive, the woodblock slices through the mix and stabs you in the neck.. incredible mix down of the vocals, Wayne's performance was amazing. This is a heater...
