| Hi im looking to enroll in a school, but im not sure which ones are probably the best bet in landing a job. Has anyone completed one here, and recommend one for me? I would greatly appreciate any help thank you. |

If you're looking into getting in the music/video production industry, you're most likely better off learning on your own from YouTube videos and what not then doing free gigs or small gigs to get experience and build up your profile.
But if you want to get a good solid foundation for a career then try these schools:
Music Production: Harris Institute or Metalworks, both are regarded the top two in Canada. Read this review about it

For Video production, probably Ryerson is your best bet |

| Thank you, yes its important that I get a legit job, even if its low paying. Im thinking school will help with that a lot. I dont care for being an artist, but in a way some engineers are I understand that. |

BTW who is this Jim Lamarche guy, I cant find much info on what he does and such for a living, just this report card. Is it someone well respected in the field?
Nevermind I found his info. Seems legit.
Thanks again, im going in for tours on a few of these places(harris and metalworks) hopefully there is a nice fit :) |

| Bob Roper will be doing the info session at Harris, he's an awesome guy with a lot of experience and knowledge in the industry. |

school will help you with some knowledge but no way it increases you chances of getting a legit job in that industry. I know a few of graduates or production schools and most of them ended up either in completely irrelevant fields or doing their own thing. Unless you want to work at Long & Mcquade... |
