Since it was brought up in the Jamie Jones thread, I figured I'd post the event. This is a new party concept that we are starting this Saturday at Space. Very happy to be apart of the launch party and even happier I get to play the Terrace with my good friend Patrick M.
The Strangers & Friends concept is brought to you by the creators Backyard Monsters, South Florida’s fastest growing underground music series. The Backyard Monsters brand has proven itself as a leader in Miami’s underground music scene and continues to attain recognition on the global scale following numerous sold-out events featuring artists such as Steve Lawler, tINI, Davide Squillace, Pan-Pot, and more.
Strangers & Friends is festive themed monthly event that will debut Saturday, June 1st, 2013, at 10:00 p.m. Club Space is Located at 34 NE 11th Street, Miami, Florida, 33132. The inaugural Strangers & Friends event will feature music by DJs Patrick Morana (Patrick M), Donnie Lowe, Oliver Deutshmann, Dsan Powell, and ALX. Tickets are available for purchase at http://www.clubspace.com.
Strangers & Friends aims to bring emphasis to the one-of-a-kind ambiance that is shaped by the crowd’s unique personality and the music around them. From brand new décor to masks and wigs, attendees are encouraged create their own energy by expressing themselves through props, costumes, and anything that screams fun.

If going to Miami wasn't such a trek and ordeal for me with living in Tampa and working weekends in a bar, I'd for sure go to this. Sounds like a blast. Flyer is hilarious. |

There's a lot of buzz about this party right now, so I'm hoping that this will be going strong by the time you get back in October.
Received the final news yesterday on the budget spent and everything that will happen throughout the night and I can honestly say if you are in town (even if you don't like deeper and techier sounds) you should still come out because this is going to be absolutely mayhem all night and morning.
The biggest thing I want to point out is this is NOT about the DJ, this about YOU and everyone else coming together to build a vibe that hopefully will be electric. |
