never really heard them either
they might just be filler music like pleasurecraft was last year
they started off good but then were blah as well
wish they would ditch the filler guys and just have the headliners spin longer sets |

saw them at this EDCNY and filler is a good word to describe them. They were actually doing vs. (forgot the name) and I didn't like them spinning, the other guy was much better (he even dropped beastie boys)
Anyways, long story short, I won't be in a rush to see them at this event. |

Wolf & Lamb were def filler at Igloofest in Montréal this past winter. Up and down and no real flow. Hope it will be different at this event.
Would be my 1st party on that Island. Can we simply get our tix at the gate ? They won't sell out? Best way to get on the island in terms of transporation? We hope to stay not far from the event. Thx for any info :) |

i would say get advanced tickets
they are pretty cheap now and didnt jump in price that much
cant say how much they will be the day of the event...
as for modes of transportation. you could take a cab there
or if its a nice day just walk across the triboro bridge
its about a 10-15 min walk from 125th street and 2nd avenue |

Hard to go wrong with JD & DT. I have an old Mixer Magazine from around 2000 I should dig up and it has both of them on the cover, bigger than life, crates and all in front of Twilo, and reads ``clash of the titans``. I feel like getting it imprinted on a tshirt just for this event !
ps, if any suggestions for inexpensive accommodations near this event, pls let me know. Otherwise, I may just hotwire it. |

It's really too bad about Randall's.. Hope they can get it in reasonable shape soon.
This will be nice on Governor's though, I like being by the water :) |

Governor's Ball was moved to Randall's Island, and it rained so much that the field was turned into a pool of mud with everyone dancing on it. They planted new grass apparently but it's gonna take some time to grow.. they don't want to hold any events until it's in better condition. |
