I'm alone beats the piss out of Yet Another Day, IMO. I have YAD, but have never really listened to it.
First time I heard I'm Alone I knew it was the best track of all time. :) |

I frankly don't understand the hype behind Yet Another Day. The synths are unimaginative and the vocal is, in my opinion, miserable. To me comparing the two is laughable. I'm Alone is simply on a different plane altogether. |
ditto... i agree 100% |

Personally, I have a hard time picking either of these tracks, both are stand-outs...
I love the Ray Wilson vocals on YAD, and each of the mixes delivers it's own interesting take.
The Ronski mix of I'm Alone is superb as well though.
I'll definitely think of both of these tracks as some of the best of 2002. Why pick just one when you can listen to em both? :D :D :D |

I love the vocals in Yet Another Day so much!
I've been waiting so long for another great male vocal trancer, they are so far and few between.
I really feel the emotion in the vocals and the lyrics and tone really fit the way I've been feeling lately.
You can hear the pain and emotion in them.
I love it.
the end.
PS: DevanteS, where did you get that info about Ray Wilson's friend? That song is even more emotional now that I know that.. |
