Music / Neurofeedback / Concussion Study
View this Thread in Original format
Miss Julia
I'm doing a study on the effects of music to the brain (Neurofeedback) for people who have had a concussion.

I would like a general idea of how many people who listen to any form of EDM has had a concussion.

Please answer this poll. Your answers are appreciated! :)

Have you ever gotten in a car accident, or bumped your head really hard? If so, I'm sure you would know if you had a concussion. Some signs and symptoms of a concussion may include:

- Headache or a feeling of pressure in the head
- Temporary loss of consciousness
- Confusion or feeling as if in a fog
- Amnesia surrounding the traumatic event
- Dizziness or "seeing stars"
- Ringing in the ears
- Nausea or vomiting
- Slurred speech
- Fatigue

Some symptoms of concussions may be immediate or delayed in onset by hours or days after injury:

- Concentration and memory complaints
- Irritability and other personality changes
- Sensitivity to light and noise
- Sleep disturbances
- Psychological adjustment problems and depression
- Disorders of taste and smell

I have ALL those symptoms! But I don't engage in any risky behavior apart from car surfing with no helmet and smoking large quantities of weed.

I got jumped in the hood once to the point I lost consciousness.

I definitely suffered a concussion there.
Sushipunk
I've never had a concussion.
