Advance tickets are a bad move for a smaller venue. Everyone shows up late, so you can't let people at the door in because you have to wait for the ticket buying late comers.

These clubs have a fair estimate of how much capacity they have. Selling half the tickets or even 200-300 tickets before won't hurt. The rest can be asked to enter at the door.

advanced tickets are definitely a must.....showing up at 9 to get in is balls if you plan on staying the whole night, no food + lots of drinks. not to mention half the people who arrive early get cut in line by late comers anyway lol especially with footworks 10 line business for big shows. his site says footwork although i must agree moskito is my vote as well.

Advanced tix don't make sense unless they sell like 50% of it and rest at door. If venue holds 300 and you sell 250, the bar is supposed to hold the line for people to show up at 12 or later and lose out on hours of booze sales?

That's true, which is why FW should have lower proportion of advanced tix on sale.
Doesn't matter anyway. The place is way too small and I saw what they charged for Sasha last year which was a complete ripoff. They'll probably do the same, advertising it as Hernan's "triumphant" return to TDOT or some BS. Intimate environment...yeah AKA cluster of peeps inside, struggling to dance. Really happy Moskito is giving FW a run for it's money, as well as Toika.

Advance tickets need to happen. In some way shape or form that works out for the benefit of all parties. No ing way any serious club-goer would venture even close to the venue if there wasn't some form of advance tickets.
