I'm with this guy. Not being negative, just being honest. Hope everyone gets what they're looking for though.

Event sold out hours ago! It's grand prix weekend.

I've seen Sasha 8 times..and have to say, he's a let down.
One last chance for me, and that's it! He used to get sooo rinsed, maybe that's why...hoping for a turn!

It was a really nice set. It is for sure a far cry from what he used for Involver 3.

For some reason a good 10-20 mins of his set, reminded me of being at Pacha many years ago (6+ years). Now that was an interesting flashback.

I wish I could have stayed longer, I just can't do afterhours anymore. One thing I do hope for, that Piknic/Igloofest, try and get hom back this year and he does not cancel.

I have to say this was my official time seeing Sasha play in an afterhours setting. I've seen him play along with diggers at the Trirbe '07 event, Black and Blue, and at 1234. Unfortunately, I had to miss him twice now in his last two visit here at Stereo, however; I guess the third time's the charm!

I've always heard that Sasha is a big hit or miss so attending this event I had my guard up. I have to say he completely exceeded my expectations. He definitely brought his "A" game last night. His 4.5 hour set started off very proggy mixed with some tech house that went up and down for the first 45 mins.He dropped some nice classic old school tracks from time to time. After about 45 mins, he began playing some solid deep house tracks that led to the second hour of nonstop vocals. Until then, Sasha was ripppppinggggg' throughout the rest of the night. The best part of it all Sasha was absolutely loving it! Complete crowd interaction with shaking people's hands, some chest fist pumping action with the signature one handed Sasha dance!

All in all, I haven't had this much fun at Stereo in a long time. The vibe was through the roof, and the venue looked sold out.

I couldn't agree with this statement more! I was a huge fan since 94' and he has been such a miss the last few times I've seen him. Just can't bring myself to pay to see him anymore.

Digweed on the other hand is on the top of his game

How long did he play? 5-6 hours? Heard it was great

it was def a really solid set
i seen him a few months ago in nyc and he was good, but nothing like on friday
so dark and heavy but with sprinkle of melodic
very old school style. it took him 4 hours to play anything off of his involver album
really solid crowd as well

i think one of the highlights of the night was when he was leaving he was being escorted thru the crowd and everyone was just stoping and starting to clap
