| played Human Reason twice? The TL looks very familiar to the Rabbit Hole section of his NYE set at Avalon. Not that I would be complaining if I had the chance to experience it live though :p |

yea, overall i would say the techno part of it is pretty similar, some stuff he played in NYE that i ID'd from my videos that wasn't in the NYE rabbit hole cut is in here.
kind of curious as to why he started playing fast again with amsterdam, shamballa, future shock, dark knight, etc, then got twisted again to close the set...maybe to pick up the energy of the crowd since he knew he was going to play until 930 am?
either way, you can't knock the guy for releasing hours 6.5 - 10 of a 10.5 hr set, thanks Markus and i look forward to the avalon rabbit hole from NYE...maybe we'll get the twisted markus and ferry collab =)

This was the best trance event I've ever seen live. Wasn't around for the trance heydays of early 2000s so I can't compare it to those sets but this was epic to see in person.
First couple hours were average but then he gradually started to get darker and darker and then he started spinning things like Royal Oak by Sian & Luigi Madonna (ID track 09). Are you kidding me?? Sickening. The kids at Space that night didn't know what to do with themselves. |

Through my 3rd full listen now...and Im super bummed I didn't pull the trigger on this event.
Very seriously considering starting my day next year with this.
Will comb back through the WMC subforum to see if there are terrace tix avail after 4am.
Would love to not go out that night, wake up and hit the terrace for Markus. |
